Dexter R. Riley is an attorney with Gray, Rust, St. Amand, Moffett & Brieske, LLP, in Atlanta, Georgia. His practice is focused on civil tort litigation, specifically in the areas of premises liability, defending businesses in wrongful death and serious injury claims stemming from criminal attacks. He also defends automobile and commercial general liability lawsuits.
Dexter is originally from Canada but moved to New Jersey as a child. Growing up all along the east coast, Dexter eventually settled in Georgia where he earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Georgia in geology. He then obtained his Juris Doctorate from the Georgia State College of Law.
Dexter initially started his career as a prosecutor in the Gwinnett County Solicitors General’s Office. Later, he served as an Assistant District Attorney for Hall County. In his career, he has tried cases ranging from traffic citations to first-degree murder prior to his switch to civil practice.
In his spare time, he is passionate about playing golf, guitar, and spending time with his friends and family.
